Born in Sweden, Greta Garbo had become one of the most talked actresses in Hollywood. During her life [1905 to 1990] she had acted in twenty odd films only, but her work was marvelously beautiful to remember. Her beauty was unmatched; her nature was unfathomable.

Greta had lost her father at early age and she had to do job even when she was not major. Leaving the school education, she had joined a departmental store for job. But here she learnt the first lesson in show business. Her employer gave her a chance in modelling and used her photos for advertising for the departmental stores.

Due to her beauty and talent, she had won scholarship from Swedish academy and got admission in a drama school. Here she learnt the art of acting. After settling in USA, she had made her career in Hollywood. Her films were appreciated and loved by the mass audience.

Her personal life was very much unknown. She perhaps disliked disclosing her relationships with others. Even her close relatives were not known.
